At Denver Sound Store, your satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to providing high-quality audio products and a straightforward, transparent shopping experience. If something is not right with your order, we are here to help with a clear and fair return and refund process.


Return Window (30 Days)

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery if your item meets one of the following conditions:

  • Damaged during shipping

  • Defective or not working properly

  • Incorrect item received

  • Item not as described

To be eligible, return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery and include proof of purchase (order number).


Eligible Return Reasons

Returns are accepted for the following situations:

  • Wrong item received

  • Product arrived damaged

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Incorrect variant shipped

  • Item significantly different from product description


Non-Returnable Items

To ensure fairness and product safety, certain items may not be eligible for return, including:

  • Products damaged due to misuse, accidents, improper handling, or unauthorized repair

  • Items returned without original packaging, accessories, or with tampered serial numbers (if applicable)

  • Items showing excessive wear, damage, stains, odors, or misuse unrelated to shipping damage

  • Free promotional or bonus items (unless defective)

For hygiene reasons, certain audio products such as earbuds or in-ear headphones may not be eligible for return if they have been used, worn, or if sealed hygiene components have been opened, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

How to Start a Return

Include the following:

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Clear photos or video showing the issue (damage, defect, or incorrect item)

  • Photos of packaging or shipping label (if applicable)

Our support team will respond within 1 business day with return instructions.

Return Shipping & Costs

Return shipping responsibility depends on the situation:

A) Store Error (our responsibility)

If the issue is due to our mistake (damaged during shipping, defective item, wrong item, or not as described), we will cover return shipping or offer an alternative solution such as a replacement or refund.

B) Customer Preference

If the return is due to customer preference (wrong item ordered, change of mind, etc.), return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are non-refundable and remain the responsibility of the customer, unless required by applicable law.


Inspection & Return Conditions

Once your returned item is received, it will be inspected before a refund is approved.

To qualify for a full refund, items should be returned with all original packaging, accessories, and manuals where possible.

If the returned product is not in acceptable condition, we may reduce or deny the refund where permitted by law.


Refund Processing

If your return is approved after inspection:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method

  • Processing time is typically 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed.


Replacements & Exchanges

In eligible cases (such as defective or incorrect items), we may offer:

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund if they have not yet shipped.

Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled and must follow the standard return process if eligible.
